The district's new Innovation Center will be housed in the building that originally housed the Wildlife Experience.
To enhance student resources, the Douglas County School District (DCSD) has bought the property that formerly housed The Wildlife Experience and CU Denver South.
The 175,000-square-foot structure will house the district's new Innovation Center, which will offer students with Career and Technical Education (CTE) and Concurrent Enrollment (CE) possibilities. In addition, it will hold centralized staff offices, conference space, and academic programs space. According to the district, the site serves as a concentrated place for children from all around the district.
