Water drag line is a kind of drag line throwing (also called line throwing). It is often used in windy conditions to increase the speed of your throwing and make it go farther and more accurate.
Follow the steps below:
1. Before the front throw and the second pull, let your back throw stay on the water behind you for a while.
2. With the recovery of the front throw, the tension of the fly line is pulled away from the water to put more load on the fly fishing rod. The front throw is then shot at extra speed because the compression rod straightens before the front hit ends.
3. Don't let a weight-bearing fly stay on the water for more than one minute, otherwise it will sink too deep and you can't get the thread back to the surface
